Baras barred from Israel baseball summit in NYC

Details are trickling in on the meeting in New York City today that could decide the fate of professional baseball in Israel. Former Israel Baseball League commissioner and US ambassador to Israel and Egypt, Daniel Kurtzer led the summit. Embattled IBL founder Larry Baras was not in attendance. "No one wanted him in the room," says our spy. However, Ami Baran, manager of the IBL's Netanya Tigers, was expected to show. Haim Katz, president of the Israel Association of Baseball, Israel's baseball governing body (who recently canceled the contract that allowed the IBL to operate) was on a conference call with the room.

who cares about this nonsense.
he couldnt attend because the people who quit the board in november were there and they hate Baras and want to take control away from him

I think the people who care are those who are owed money and this may be their best hope of getting their money back-- as unlikely as that may be in the end. For good reason, the board and others want to take control away.

it the end Larry won. The board is tarnished and people who are owed money can kiss it goodbye

why won't anyone sue this guy? is he bullet-proof? teflon? meetings, shmeetings...somebody ought to sue the damn shyster and make him have to reply to all the questions about the money?
can people owed money go after him personally or do they have to sue all of his corporations?

I heard that Larry is fighting the IAB and saying that they had no reason to throw them out on their keyster. The IAB is shiting bricks that they will be sued by Larry.
The mess continues.

The IAB has absolutely nothing to worry about. Larry does not have the resources to sue and my guess is he doesn't want to go there. He has more to lose than any one because any lawsuit with the IAB may require that he reveal the IBL finances and why Israeli vendors have not been paid.

My question is will the IPBL will have problems because of the IBL debts. They are two separate organizations but the IAB may want money in advance or payment in full before they can proceed in Israel. Any thoughts?

If Larry was smart he would resign and close up shop and go deeper in hiding. I hear that Peru wants a baseball league with a bagel store.
When will he stop the folly?
The IAB will be sued but they are not liable. The only criminals are Larry, Martin, the IBL lawyer and the board who knew of this stuff and could have stopped it before it got too messy.

there are others who are also liable

STOP BEATING AROUND THE BUSH"!
The names are Berger, Kurtzer, Goldklang, Duquette, Appel, and ANY OTHER "BOARD-MEMBER" or person who had anything to do with the operations of the IBL!

Then sue them! Fuck baseball!
They are all scum!!
