Lindsay Lohan watch: India not so guruvy

As it turns out, Lindsay Lohan's potentially life-changing pilgrimage to India was nothing more than a long weekend. What we'd hoped would be a long hiatus from Hollywood bad influences, a chance to bathe in the River Ganges and seek enlightenment from any number of gurus turned out to be a quick photo op for a BBC documentary on child trafficking and a flight back to LAX (where she's pictured arriving on Saturday) for the talented and troubled actress. Even her claims of good work have been challenged, as her Twitter last week that she'd been party to the saving of forty lives is claimed by a local activist to have referred to a raid that occurred before she landed in the republic.

The watch continues...

I hate it when celebrities do this! They try to use other people's misfortune to improve their public image; she can't even do a good job at it: http://heatherleilamoz.blogspot.com/2009/12/ms-lohan-in-india.html
